Terms and conditions

The European Space Agency (ESA) and the British National Space Centre (BNSC) will select five representatives from the general public among those that will participate in the competition: “Help to shape Europe’s future in space - A public competition” on the basis of participants’ responses and in accordance with the terms and conditions stated here.

The only valid response to the competition is by: All data submitted as part of the form will be archived by ESA and/or BNSC and used by both in the context of the above-mentioned competition only.

ESA will announce the results of the competition and the names of the five winners by 11 December 2006. The results shall be deemed final and shall not be subject to appeal.

ESA will bear the costs of transportation from the place of residence of each winner to Edinburgh where the European Exploration Workshop will take place on 8 and 9 January 2007 and related costs of accommodation in Edinburgh, subject to prior written confirmation of each winner to attend the above-mentioned workshop. All other costs that are not expressly mentioned above and that each winner may incur in participating to the above-mentioned workshop, or as a result of his/her participation, are, and shall remain, at his/her own expenses.
